Colerne run away with it

After a close first 40 minutes, Minety seconds faltered in the second half as hosts Colerne took control of the game.
Minety tackled hard and defended well in the fist half. Their flyhalf Andy Edwards missed two penalty goal attempts but hosts Colerne ran in a try to make it 5-0 at the break.
As the visitors began to tire in the second half, the home side moved their performance up a notch. Colerne scored a try, and then exploited their advantage to run in four more, converting two of them to give a convincing 34-nil margin of victory.
Minety’s man-of-the-match was the ever reliable Tim Vaughan at fullback.
