17th November: Ladies and Gents, old and new! We are after a few more players for Saturdays 2s game away at Amesbury. There is a “fun bus” heading there leaving the rugby club at 11:30/12:00hrs and returning later that evening……there will be beers provided by the club for the return journey!   Amesbury are really keen for us to play as they have a VPs day and are putting on some good food after the game.  If you haven’t played in a while or are returning from injury then this is a great time to get back involved! Come on chaps get involved and keep the club pressing forward! If you’re keen get in touch on here or call the 2s Captain Steve on 07753 191564.

24th November, Bus Trip; As the 1st Team have reached the final of the Dorset & Wilts Vase Competition for the 2nd time in 3 years the club has arranged for a bus to take the players, coaches, therapist, back room staff, and a limited amount of supporters to the final. Destination/venue tbc, but as we are playing the Dorset Dockers in the final I anticipate the venue to be somewhere of similar distance between each club. If you would like to reserve a place on the bus please contact Ben Collins.

  1. Hi Ben,

Maybe I should co-ordinate more closely with you. I have organised a VPs Lunch for this Saturday. Is that going to clash with the Oktoberfest? We’re usually through by 2.30 – 3.00

    Regards,

  2. Hello Mark,

I’m afraid all I do is post what is given to me. Your best bet is to liaise with Ben Collins – he’s in charge of Social events (his contact numbers are on the Contacts page). I would imagine that your event will be over well before the end of the games on Saturday so there should be no problems but probably best to check with Ben.
