Whitby Warned!

Authorities have reportedly announced that the Yorkshire town of Whitby is in a state of lock down after reports that Minety RFC are on their way to the picturesque sea side town for their 2017 tour.

The party, most of them fashionably decked out in matching shell suits, left Minety RFC at 10am ready for the 6 hour journey north to Whitby where they will compete in the Whitby 10 a side tournament tomorrow (Saturday).  Assuming (and it is a great assumption) that they any of them arrive “compos mentis”, we hope to be able to update you on their progress.

The Gallery below, shows the preparations in and around the club house immediately before departure.  Clicking on a photograph will bring it up to full size (you have been warned!) and those of a delicate disposition (or with any degree of dress sense) may wish to look away now.
