A message from our Social Secretaries, Ben Collins and Tom Claxton:
“Hi Guys
“Myself, Collins and Jack have taken over the planning of a 2017 tour.
“We are going to Whitby, Yorkshire on Easter bank holiday weekend – Friday 14th April to Sunday 16th April to play in Whitby RFC’s 10’s tournament. The Monday is a bank holiday too so you will all have a day to recover!
“The current, rudimentary plan is to leave early on the Friday and stop regularly for beverages on the way up. We will find some places to drink once we get there Friday evening. Saturday is the tournament, live music and a BBQ and we will make our way home on the Sunday.
“We have already organised a bus and this one will definitely be happening provided that enough of us want to go!
“The cost will be £150 each. A deposit of £100 is required by Tuesday 28th February and the remaining £50 by Friday 31st March. You can pay via cash or by transfer if you would prefer – contact me if you want the bank details. Please be a bit proactive with this and don’t make me chase you too much for payment as this is what causes events to be cancelled and stops people wanting to organise them!
