Saturday 2 October 2010: a double-win day for the senior Minety teams.
The 1st XV put in a great team effort to beat Fairford 10-0, while the Dreamers accumulated a cricket score against the Calne second team, eventually winning 53-3.

A big thanks to the hard working JB, Wendy and their assistant Kev for the splendid Friends of Minety lunch before Saturday’s games. It was a great effort and much appreciated by the diners.
Finally, a word from our crocked club captain, Jack Ward, whose hip operation has now been put back to Tuesday.
A big THANK YOU from me to the lads and all who contributed to the whip-round for me on Saturday. I really appreciated it and it cheered me up a lot. Also, well done for winning!
This Saturday, 9 October 2010, both senior Minety teams are drawn away. The firsts travel to Sutton Benger, while the seconds wend their way down to Warminster. All the best to them both and let’s hope that their winning ways continue.
