Another meander through the meaningless!
It is now 174 minutes of play since an opposition player scored a point against the 1st XV.
It is the first time in over 2 season, probably longer, since Minety have enjoyed consecutive shut outs in Dorset and Wilts Division 1 North.
There have been 12 shut outs all season in Division 1 North, 5 of them occuring in the last two rounds of matches.
The top 6 teams have all scored over 300 points this season, Minety being the 6th highest scorers.
Only Combe Down (1st), Bradford on Avon (2nd) and Avonvale (3rd) have conceded fewer points than Minety.
Minety are 12 points behind the league leaders (Combe Down) and 42 above the bottom club, Swindon.
Saturday’s points mean it is now mathematically impossible for Minety to be relegated.
Ben Scott has the highest number of consecutive appearances for the 1st XV this season with 12 on the bounce.
Saturday’s win at Royal Wootton Bassett was the 1st time this season when no Scottish players have been on the pitch for Minety. Colin French was injured and Duncan Simpson unavailable.
Minety maintained their record of having scored a try in every league match this season.
No new players were introduced into the 1st XV this season. We have still only used 33 players!
Andrew Hibbard played his 1st match in the front row this season at RWB.
Saturday’s encounter was the first time this season that hooker Tom Claxton has not had either Colin French or Nick Britten propping alongside him.
For the 12th time this season Anton turned down the chance to play!!

Jack Ward and Ben Langridge recorded their 3rd tries of the season.
Matt Roberts became the 6th Minety player to enjoy 10 minutes on the “naughty step” this season.
The 2nd XVs match at Trowbridge on 20th January was their first competitive fixture since the defeat at Corsham on 9th December.
The loss at TRowbridge was the 2nds biggest defeat of the season and the first time this season that they have not scored.
In the reverse fixture back in September Minety beat Trowbridge 40-5
