Minety start their 2016 campaign with one of their biggest fixtures in their history, a Southern Counties Semi Final clash against Gosford All Blacks, on Saturday January 2nd, kick off 2.15pm at Minety Fields.
The visitors, who play their rugby in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, are presently top of the Berks/Bucks and Oxon league table with an impressive 10 wins from 11 fixtures, scoring just under 40 points and conceding just 10 points on average per match.
The home team will be hoping to build on an unbeaten run stretching back to October but will be keeping fingers crossed that all of the regular players will be available for selection.
In the other semi final Milton Keynes will be taking on Tadley.
