Minety coach Huw Jones was delighted at his team’s winning performance this afternoon.
Unfortunately, Minety firsts weren’t able to follow their example and, with a score of 13-30, came a creditable second behind swift-footed league leaders Chippenham II.
The Dreamers were in good form, though, and defeated Midsomer Norton IV by 29 points to nothing.

Both Minety’s senior teams play at home again next Saturday. The firsts welcome Bath Saracens while the seconds take on Pewsey Vale II. Kick-offs: 2.30 pm.
