It was cold and it was wet, but the firsts put in a really solid performance away against Avonvale, scoring two tries and not conceding a single point all afternoon.

The seconds also played well but were narrowly defeated away against Swindon College Old Boys thirds.

This Saturday, Minety attempt to catch up on the home fixtures postponed during the recent spell of snow and ice.
The firsts play hosts to league leaders Chippenham II while the Dreamers welcome Midsomer Norton IV to Minety.
Note the early kick-offs! We’re going to try and start these games at 1.30 pm so that we can watch the England international on the TV in the clubhouse afterwards.
