Seventeen young players from Minety Academy took their first step on the coaching ladder by successfully completing their Rugby Ready qualification in an arrangement supported by RWE.
A fundamental principle of the Academy is the development of the ‘whole’ player with player education part of this. The club has a successful track record of training and mentoring young coaches and has twice received national recognition for this work.
Minety take players from the age of 5 with the Academy open to players between the ages of 15 – 18. Players interested in joining the Academy and developing to their full potential should contact Cliff Garland on 07903 816386 or email garland53aol.com.
