We are delighted to be able to announce that representatives of the club met with our RFU Regional Development Officer, Chris Burton, to receive our club’s RFU Accreditation.
The club, led by Cliff Garland, has been working towards this prestigious award for some time now and had to put together a comprehensive development plan to match the RFU’s stringent criteria. The plan, which highlights areas where the club is working at or exceeding the RFU’s expectations also identifies areas where we need to improve, and was endorsed by the Minety RFC Committee in January and sent to the RFU for their approval.
In addition to now being a fully RFU Accredited Club, MInety has also been awarded Sport England’s Clubmark Accreditation, valid for the next two years.
Club stalwart John Butler was present to receive the Accreditation certificates and signs, which will be displayed soon in the club house.
