Once again, we bring bad news. Both games, scheduled for today, have been cancelled after all the Minety pitches failed early morning inspections. The two games, against Bradford on Avon in Division 1 and Melksham in Division 3, were originally pencilled in to be played last week but were postponed after an early morning pitch inspection showed that the water laden Minety pitches were unplayable.
Re-scheduled for today, Saturday 24th, the matches have once again fallen foul of both the weather and pitch conditions – the heavy overnight frost having frozen the surfaces. We will bring pictures as soon as possible.
The social event “The Return of the Delhi Belly” goes ahead this afternoon in the club house as planned.
