Captain Andrew Hibbard and Coach Andy Ward in 2015
It’s Dorset and Wilts Vase Final day on Saturday at Salisbury’s magnificent rugby ground and Minety is on the move.
Those who accompanied the team to Warminster back in 2015 for the final against Lytchett Minister will not have forgotten how much fun the whole day was (except for those who drank so much that they couldn’t remember the entire occasion).
This time we will be taking a coachload to Salisbury where the Mighty Minety will face the Dorset Dockers from Christchurch in what many are saying is the biggest match of the season for both teams.
The Minety Clubhouse and bar will be open from 10:30 for bacon rolls and coffee on a “first come first served” for just £2 – the perfect well to start the day.
Bus will depart from Minety at 11:00 sharp (we will not be waiting for anyone as we have to be at Salisbury at 12:15)!
The Bus will be back in Minety at 21:00.
Playing squad members travel free of charge but we ask that travelling fans contribute £10 towards the cost of the hire of the coach. If you want to be assured of a place on the coach and in Minety RFC history, contact Ben Collins as soon as possible. Click here to send him an email or check contact details on the Contacts page (right hand side menu).
