It’s one of the, if not “The” social event of the year – the Minety RFC Annual Presentation Dinner 2017.
26th May 2017 at 7.30pm in the MRFC Clubhouse.
We are very pleased and excited to announce that this year’s guest speaker will be Paul “Judge” Rendall, former England and Wasps prop.
Paul earned 28 caps for England from 1984, playing in six 5 Nations Championships plus the 1987 World Cup and played his final England game aged 37 years old in the 1991 Rugby World Cup. He was also the kangaroo court Judge on England tours, so he should have some great stories from the amateur days.
In addition to a sumptuous feast (a waitress service, sit down 4 course meal) and the wise words from the Chairman, the Coach, the 1st and 2nd XV captains and others, the event will include presentations for:
Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Most Improved Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Year, 2nd XV Most improved player, 2nd XV Player of the Season and the Captain’s Award.
Tickets are £35, please contact Andy Somers at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place, a deposit or full payment will be required.
This event is limited to 80 places, and at the time of writing 28 had already been taken up. Act fast; get your booking sorted as quickly as possible.
Club Chairman Dave Peirce added, “Lads only night, but any help from our lovely ladies would be much appreciated. If interested in helping with the bar contact Andrew O’Dell. Thanks!”
