…But Minety’s two senior teams both defied the elements on Saturday to win away victories in their respective league fixtures.
The firsts beat Swindon seconds 7-24 while the seconds defeated Devizes thirds 17-24. Reports on both games are now in the Match Reports section.
Minety’s next games are in two weeks’ time, on Saturday 8 February, when both the firsts and seconds are due to play at home. The 1st XV take on old friends and rivals Bradford-on-Avon while the seconds welcome Melksham thirds. Kick-offs at 2.15 pm.
